CAPPING YOUR BAMBOO PRIVACY SCREENS AND FENCING

Bamboo Logistics advises that once you install your bamboo fence, you should apply a capping along the top of the fence, this is important as it prevent moisture attacking the unsealed area where the bamboo has been cut, this will avoid any swelling and also help prevent splitting from the top of  the top of the bamboo.

WHAT YOU CAN USE TO CAP YOUR BAMBOO PRIVACY SCREEN OR FENCE

Bamboo Logistics has its own special designed bamboo fence capping, you can also use bamboo, timber, rubber hose or even bricks if fixing to cement wall.

HOW TO CAP YOUR BAMBOO PRIVACY SCREEN OR FENCE

Fixing some sort of cover along the top of the bamboo that covers the whole top surface, making sure you fix it solid, Bamboo Logistics special designed capping, has been designed to sit snug over both sides of the bamboo ensuring it covers the surface completely, this also makes it easy to fix to the bamboo.

WHEN THE CAPPING SHOULD BE APPLIED

Capping should be applied when installing your bamboo fence, it can be fitted after it has been installed, if your bamboo is undercover and not xposed to rain full, then it does not need to be caped

Capping can also be fitted to the sides of your bamboo , when building privacy screens, using it as a protective framing as well.
