I am writing to warn potential buyers on how to deal with difficult vendors. (Always stick to the eBay guidelines and contact eBay for resolution and dispute help)
Although the vendor may seem to have a stellar rating, which often gives me the confidence to bid, I had once dealt with a vendor that was quite rude and threatening when my item was either lost or never shipped, even with his solid feedback.
My advice would be to pay close attention to those that have had problems with their items. The negatives: poor communication and response, refusal for refund, rude in dealing with customers and will write a scathing, hostile and abusive feedback--even if you're just asking where you're item is after months of never receiving it. Those should be red flags that the person may be a problem seller.
If unfortunately you have had to deal with this type of seller and you never received the item or did not receive a refund for the faulty item, please make sure to contact eBay about this. The correct procedure is ALWAYS to raise an Item Not Received dispute. Do it even if you didn't pay with Pay Pal. It is the process that matters, since sellers who are continually reported will get restricted or banned. It only takes 5% of buyers to be dissatisfied and the seller is GONE!
