Scammers just love the word 'privacy'. If one is buying e.g. reproduction and fake military badges, insignia etc. and selling these items as genuine or misrepresented under another ID what better way to keep such duplicity from the punters. Some fraudsters will tell you that their buyers prefer privacy - you can soon debunk that little fib by clicking on the feedback of some of their buyers - you'll find that invariably the bulk of the feedback from other sellers is not private at all. Another thing to look for in assessing the honesty of a seller is whether you're able to ask a question - if you do try and get a message that the seller is unable to respond to your question, be very, very suspicious. Honest buyers will always take the time to respond to questions about their items.
