If your purchase isn't what was described or not working I have found that emailing the seller immediately and giving them fair time (up to a week) to respond to your complaint usually results in an outcome favourable to you being the buyer.

Most people are more than understanding and given the chance to fix a problem are more than happy to do so. No one wants negative feedback on their profile as oneday this may lose you a sale or purchase. Always try communication before leaving feedback.
