When you set up your Ebay ad, make sure that potential buyer/s know where you are particularly if your auction or sale is pick up only.

Add your suburb in the writeup somewhere. Just seeing Melbourne, Sydney, Perth or Brisbane will make buyers skip your add. It certainly doesnt stimulate an email to you to find out where you are. Invite buyers to email you with questions. Sometimes it is helpful to leave an obvious detail out of the writeup, (not always though.) it might get them to email a question to you. (like: Where are you on this planet Bro?)
Give as much information as possible about the item you are selling.
Dont forget to include lots of photo's (for the most part, they are free.) Take plenty of measurements of your item and include these in the ad somewhere.
Try to match up the measurements with the pictures that you have included.
When you ad pictures try to get them to sit correctly in the review panel before you set your ad live. Its not good to see a picture on its side or upside down. If you dont know how to change the a sideways photo, ask a friend to help or search on line for instructions. Its not that hard to make great ads & great ads get plenty more views to potential buyers in the end.
