I find the discriptions and photo's of jewellery make the pieces look stunning, and that is sales talk. The buyer when receiving their purchase is very disappointed the purchase looks the same as the advertised piece but at a fraction of the size. The sizing is confusing and often when quoted in mm it is often one or two mills out and that can make a huge difference. Advertisers should use one sizing, such a carat. Then the carat sizes should be drawn as round or square shapes allowing poeple to see for themselve what size they are getting. I have been buying stones and jewellery for a long time and I still get caught. What about the people out there that have no experience. They must get caught all the time. It puts people off buying on line.
