Welcome to the Solid Gold Beads Production Infomation Guide!
I hope you find this info as fascinating as I have the last short while, as we've dipped our toes into the solid gold bead production waters. There are 3 basic stages of gold bead manufacturing; design, prototype, production.
1) Design - A creation is dreamt up, and then the CAD software is used to make the creation dream a reality. This stage takes around 2 weeks to complete. But what will it really look like...?
2) Prototype - The prototype in wax takes care of the 3D design stage. Once this is made, you can get a good feel for the size of the finish product. This is the longest stage of production, and is usually completed inside 3-4 weeks.
3) Production - Depending on the manufacturer, each solid gold or sterling silver bead is Quality Assurance tested at every stage; in wax, after casting, again before polishing, again after setting, and finally are inspected a last time when packing for shipping. This ensures you only ever recive items of the very highest of high standards.
As we progress in our gold beads and charms production, I will keep you informed on the processes behind it all.
Have a fab day!
