Spotting Fake Guitars and Websites that sell them.

Please do not buy from Bounry.com. They are China-made fakes of brand name guitars. You may think by looking at the pictures on there website that they are real Gibsons or real Fenders, but don't be fooled! You cannot buy a Gibson supreme Les Paul for $320, it is a $5,000 guitar. To add to other guides such as this, some websites buy REAL brand name guitars to get measurements and styles to copy, and then they take pictures of the Real ones to fool you. Don't be fooled! Even though you can type the serial number from a pictured guitar into a guitar finder (http://www.guitardaterproject.org/) and get back that it was made in the U.S.A., that is because that particular one indeed was, but if you bought the item, you would be sent a fake. So, even if the picture of a guitar is real, that does not mean the one you get will be, this, sadly, can go for ebay as well, but is far less common. You cannot trust people the same as you used to.
