I got fed up with expensive tracing paper or smudging carbon paper. I embroid by hand and machine. When I embroider by
machine I use so called Solvy/a water soluble plastic, that disappears when the embroidery is soaked.
So why not to try it whit hand embroidery. What a great idea. I trace the pattern on solvy, no need for light bos or anything else. It is clear. Then I baste it /and or machine/ onto the base fabric and I hand embroider through the plastic. When finished I rip the plastic from the gaps, soak the embroidery and ... all done, just like magic. So easy no drama no smudges and saving heaps.
This little invention is in my store and I am selling for almost no cost traced embroidery patterns for crafters who do not have lots of patterns to trace or looking for something new.
