Brides these days are steering away from tradition however it seems that the garter still remains. Normally a keep and throw garter is worn under the bridal dress or gown for the big day and as part of the reception (male version of throwing the bouquet) he will put his head up the dress and rip off one of the garters and toss it to the boys in the crowd.

Normally a garter has a satin throw garter and the keep one has a extra piece of lace or organza so that it is beautiful keepsake from your big day.

Sugar & Spice are pleased to announce that very shortly we will be introducing a range of garters online to help you gorgeous brides save time and worry over the little things that help make a wedding special! You can view them on eBay or online at www.sugarandspice.com.au in about a months time (just before Christmas 2011).
