I have been running my Small Business for the past 4 years and have learn a lot from it - it has changed my life and helped me become financially independent.
Below are some of the Marketing Avenue I tried and yield results for me and my business.(excuse the grammar, not so good)
1) Email Marketing
This has to be one of my most frequently used method of getting my Services and Products out to the public. It only cost a small coffee to send out a few thousand emails - and the return on interested is usually 300%.
2) Clean and Well Presented Website
Most of my enquiries comes from the website contact us form, usually for quotes. This is great, as I'm not always available to take calls with my busy schedules.
3) Business Card/Brochures
It's important that you mention your website, email and your contact number on the card. and the services/products you offer. eg. one side have your contact details, the other have your product and services information.
4) Tradeshow/Networking event
The holly grail of Big Fishes, you'll find them lurking in every corner at these event, get active and get out there! Some of you might be anti-social but you'll find that just asking people about their products will in turn get people to ask you about your products.
5) Promotional Gift
The secret weapon of luring potential customers! Everybody loves free gift, it's even a more appreciated if the gift is useful. Handing out something like a Engraved Pen with your Business Name on it, at those Tradeshow and Networking event can yield you those Big Fishes you're after.
