My husband asked me the other day how do Candles and Wax Melts have anything to do with interior design or home decor?  Well, I answered....

Once you've got your designer lounge, velvet drapes, shag rug on the opulent tiled floor and cityscape art hanging on the walls - what's the ambiance of the room going to be?  Interior design needs to hit all the senses - one of them is Fragrance!  Smell!
This can be a personal thing, time of the day, the mood, theme of the room or style of home or office.  Whether you want a pungent hit to the senses, an air of masculinity, holiday at the beach sensation or something meditative and relaxing, it comes down to what you or your guests want to experience when they enter the room.  How you want them to feel and what you would like them to take away.

Your home or office design has its own look and feel, but the aroma can extend it 10 x fold, binding the visual experience of interior design with the right aroma, altered ever so slightly.  So its important which fragrance you choose to blend with your whole theme, that it just flows.

Candles can be a display of their own. There is an array of candelabras, decorative trays, bowls of various designs to suit the space you require them to fill.  There are many styles to choose from depending on how you want them to be displayed whether it be stand-out or something subtle, for just a hint of aroma.  High quality candles don't even have to be lit, the aroma is in the room whether alight or not.   Soy Jar Candles are a neat option, they can sit on their own or blend with other decor, simple or decorative.  You don't need to go to expense to send people on a journey their senses will never forget!

Alas though, make sure the aroma doesn't overshadow your design.  Keep in mind the size of the room.  In a small space, a small candle or wax melt can be enough, even unlit.  With Soy Jar Candles, most come with lids, so if you want a break from its aroma, just place the lid back on to seal the aroma for awhile.  Experiment, have fun with different fragrances, everyone is different.  What you love might not be what someone else loves, so try some different styles, see what suits most.  Doesn't always have to be the same.

You may have beautiful gardens outside, perhaps a Frangipani tree you've tailored to waft its floral fragrance through a window, but they haven't got flowers all year round so why not use its fragrance through a candles' essential oil, keeping those aromas flowing.

So, dear husband of mine, the Candles and Wax Melts are an integral piece of decor that's the topper, finale`, a bit of pop to enhance any interior design.  Enjoy!
