Unique Rare Vinyl LP Record John Cougar Mellencamp 1985
Really Unique and quite Rare LP Records from the 70's & 80's.

John Cougar Melloncamp - Scarecrow
The song "Rain on the Scarecrow" was a direct commentary on agricultural policies that had led to the serious downturn in family farming in the US.
It's hard to hear the lyrics and not feel empathy for the plight of small farmers.

Other insightful songs on the album—such as "Small Town" and "You've Got To Stand For Somethin'"—continue with themes of rural affection or rebellious attitudes.

In addition to inspired message music, Mellencamp also knows how to write great hit songs, as evidenced here by "Lonely Ol' Night," "Rumbleseat," and "R.O.C.K. In The U.S.A."

Most people consider this to be his finest album!!!

Stephen Holden - Rolling Stone Reviewer

This album comes from my personal collection (opps, now i have given my age away ;-])
my problem is that i no longer have a record player to play them!!!

If you love your 70s - 80's music as much as i do, just sit back and enjoy them...

and it won't be long till you'll be feeling that same old groove again,
and those great old memories will come flooding back...
