Pink, Purple and Peachy Tones

Finally replacing emerald, Radiant Orchid is Pantone's 2014 colour of the year which is going to be a huge impact in the beauty world. The colour has entered the runways during the 2014 fashion shows and is already making its on onto the red carpet. A captivating harmony of fuchsia, purple and pink undertones, the colour is very modern and in your face! A very modern and versatile shade that can instantly brighten the complexion of your face and make you appear much healthier and younger. For a soft feminine look, add soft pink, purple, peach onto your cheeks, eyelids and lip.

We love  NARS Duo Eyeshadow in Jolie Poupee Giorgio Armani Eyeshadow Palette in Fatale  and the  Christian Dior Powder Blush in Coral Cruise.

Straight Brows

The strong brow is not showing any signs of disappearing any time soon, thanks to Cara. This season we recommend that you steer clear of the strong exaggerated arch and opt for a more straighter and thicker brows for a more youthful look. Apply brow powder to your brows with a small angular brow brush and gently brush your brows with a brush for a more defined look

and voila! A quick and instant face lift! We love Chanel Le Sourcil De Chanel, Laura Mercier Brow Definer and Bobbi Brown Natual Brow Shaper.

 My Little Pony Hair

Just when we thought the rainbow hair trend was ending in 2012, Alexa Chung, Fearne Cotton and   so many other A-Listers are bringing it back!
There are different options for achieving this look. We recommend clip-in extensions, wash-out colour or a hair chalk.
If you're brunette or blonde, purples, lilacs and pinks are the ideal colour to play around with.
Are you brave enough to try?

Return of the rose

Roses are the main floral scent this year. Chloe has returned back to the perfume market with a rose scent called Roses De Chloe. A Gentle and graceful, fragrance which tries to capture a walk down the Parisian rose gardens. It includes fresh notes of bergamot at the beginning of the composition, developing into essence of damask rose accompanied by magnolia that gives a modern touch. A classic that is definitely here to stay this year. We also love the Bvlgari Rose EssentiallePaul Smith Rose and Balenciaga L'Eau Rose.

Go bold or go home:

Throw out your boring neutral lipsticks and start fresh in the new year with a bright bold orange, tangerine or coral bright lip. Bold lips, a full face of makeup plus dark eyes can be fun but let's face it, sometimes you don't want your makeup slipping and sliding. Especially right now during the warmer months. Suitable for when you're in the office or drinking a cocktail by the pool. For this look, we recommend that your eyes and skin are kept minimal. A colour that instantly brightens up your complexion and it also complements all skin types. Try Clarins Rouge Prodige True Hold Colour & Shine Lipstick in - 115 Rose Coral or the Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupte - Coral Incandescent. Apply the lipstick on your lips starting from the centre of your lips and work your way out to the corners. We also recommend using a lip brush for a more even application. Bold lips are definitely here to stay!
