Hi my name is Amy Martin. I have been a very passionate beauty therapist for the last 10 years. I am also an acne survivor. Part of the reason I became a beauty therapist was because I had terrible skin and I wanted to find out how I could get rid of acne and I also wanted to help others achieve beautiful skin. I have tried many acne treatments on the market and have finally found an ance treatment that works!

To Get Rid Of Acne Forever You Need To:

  1. Use an acne treatment that you have found to be effective. I use ASAP as I have found this skincare product to produce the fastest and most effective results. Follow the acne system you choose and stick to it. Don't give up.
  2. Avoid foods that stimulate acne and eat more foods that can help clear acne.
  3. Follow the no acne guide at the end of this guide.

This is the exact system I followed to clear my acne. I was fed up I had had enough so I followed the system step by step and achieved dramatic results within weeks. And you can too!

To defeat acne you first must understand acne and what causes it. So What Is Acne?

Acne is a common skin disease and appears on the areas of the skin with the most sebaceous glands. They produce a natural moisturiser called sebum. Too much of this sebum can case a blockage and the body still produces sebum but now there is nowhere for it to go. The result? Pimple, Acne, Breakout, Zit....

There is also another type of acne called propionibacterium acnes. This is a type of bacteria present on the skin, found in the hair root in the sebum. If there is too much sebum around propionibacterium acnes the skin explodes into an inflamed and infectious papule. These are the big red sore lesions you can on your skin.

Why can acne appear when we are a teenager or an adult?

Hormones - during puberty, menstrual cycle, pregnancy and menopause. This is the common cause of acne because there is an increase in male sex hormones which can cause the sebum glands to produce more oil. During pregnancy there is also an increase in Androgenic Hormones which produces more sebum. Menopause acne occurs as production of the natural anti-acne ovarian hormone fails.

Genes - thanks mum and dad! Unfortunately acne runs in the family. A family history of acne is associated with an earlier occurence of acne.

Psychological - research suggests that increased acne severity is associated with increased stress levels. So keep yourself balance.

Diet - a high carbohydrate content (breads, pasta, sugar) and cow's milk have been associated with acne worsening. Chocolate has not been associated with acne worsening. Phew!

The best acne treatment I have personally tried, tested and reviewed myself.

The following skincare system works if you follow the system step by step. I know because I have tried it myself, I seen the skin transformation on my clients, I have reserached acne forums and user reviews.

Any acne treatment takes time and you need to allow at least 3 months before you notice huge results. If the ASAP system is used correctly, along with a healthy diet and following the no acne guide you will notice results within 2 weeks.

The 9 foods to avoid that will stimulate acne:

Foods highly acidic tend to cause acne as they imbalance your bodies pH levels. The following foods have been known to set off acne in some people:

  • Dairy: butter, ice cream, yogurt and every form of cheese and milk.
  • Refined carbohydrates: grains, refined sugars, bread.
  • Eggs
  • Liver
  • Fish
  • Seaweed
  • Iodized salt
  • Processed foods: these foods are highly refined which makes them impossible to digest. This can lead to an allergic reaction, inflammation and then acne.

The 9 foods you should eat that can help clear up your acne:

  • Oysters
  • Chicken
  • Turkey
  • Mangos
  • Carrots
  • Beans and Lentils
  • Yeast
  • Nuts and seeds
  • Wholegrain cereal

Bonus Food: Zinc can also help clear up acne it enhances immune function, reduces inflammation and promotes healthy hormone levels. You can take a zinc tablet once a day which you can find from your local supermarket or chemist.

Find out what sets off your acne. Keep a diary for 4-8 weeks recording symptoms you experience after you eat certain foods. Make sure you record- What you eat, snacks you have, drinks you have, your mood and severity of symptoms.

The Complete No Acne Guide... Follow These Steps To Achieve Clear Skin Within Weeks...

  1. Wash your face with your hands not a face cloth as they are too rough and can irritate the skin. Dry your skin with tissues rather than a towel (it can contain bacteria).
  2. Cleanse your skin at night and exfoliate every morning (make sure your exfoliater is a daily exfoliator eg. ASAP Daily Scrub is perfect).
  3. Avoid touching or scratching your skin with your hands as your hands contain bacteria that can cause breakouts. Don't touch.
  4. Clear your mobile, home or office phone regularly. Believe it or not this can cause acne. Also change your pillows regularly.
  5. Keep your hair away from your face. This can bring extra oil to the skin.
  6. Drink 8 glasses of water everyday. You will need to go to the bathroom more often in the beginning although your body will adjust to this. Your skin will thankyou!
  7. Try to have a regular sleeping pattern. This will reduce stress also.
  8. Spend 20 minutes a day giving yourself time out. For example exercise, meditating, deep breathing exercises or a hobby you enjoy. This will reduce your stress levels and remove impurities from the skin.
  9. Never ever pick, touch or squeeze your pimples. This will cause infection, scarring and more breakouts. If you feel the need to squeeze put your acne treatment on the area instead.
  10. Wear mineral make up. The make up you are using could be the very cause of your acne. Use a mineral make up as it is natural it won't clog your skin, is free of damaging chemicals and will allow your skin to breath.

Final thoughts and tips...

Follow this guide and you will be an acne survivor just like me. You won't be able to stop looking in the mirror because you can't believe your eyes. You will get compliments on how good your skin is looking.

Never ever give up. Having a positive attitude will help you become acne free sooner. Acne doesn't have to destroy your life and don't let it control your life either.

Welcome to the wonderful world of having clear skin!
