For a few years I have been actively watching/buying on the Plants, Seeds and Bulbs category of this site and have bought lots of plants to feed my addiction for collecting beautiful and unique varieties for my ever expanding garden. My "watch list" is jam-packed with exotic species with even more exotic price tags.
Like everybody, I want value for money and want to get the cheapest price for the item I desire.
Here is where the years of watching this category have showed me... Friday, Saturday and Sunday, from 2pm till 11pm is a very volatile time for auctions of plants and you will see that alot of the big ebay nurseries (even my own) have auctions that end specifically in that time. Prices can sky-rocket for some plants and bidding wars go on right to the last seconds of the auction.
The best times to find bargains for plants on here is during the weekdays, early in the morning until the afternoon. It just seems that there is not many people on here and if you are unable to watch the auction till the dying seconds, it is a safe time to throw a bid on an item and get it for that price
