Here is one of our CAKE FRIDGES in our test container at high humidity and 35c ambient temp .Still cooling ,but capacity drops as ambient rises .A clear sign - Keep your display area cool!
Its really important to keep your condensers clean for best performance and power savings .This is located behind your front grill remove the srews top or bottom .Once the grill is removed you can use a dust pan to remove the build up on your condenser and keep your fridge running at its best !As a service based company this is easily our biggest call out and its such an easy thing to do .
Another big thing is check what temperature the fridge your buying is rated to .All our fridges will operate and cool (rated ) at 35 c .We use larger condensers to achieve this .This is the large coil under the fridge that cools the compressor and dispells heat from the inside of the fridge to the outside air through air to air heat transfer .
Compressor quality is also something to look out for .We only use Embraco or Danfoss compressors .These are more expensive but we have found these give the longest service when properly looked after some of our units are still running great at 10 years!
