Occasionally you may be making a warhammer model and realize wate, i need on catachan vox-caster. Well you don’t want to go out and buy a whole $50 box do you? This guide will help explain some of the basics for bidding and what you need to know also some helpful tips.

Well the First thing to do if you are after certain bits from warhammer 40k don’t go through the hole games >war games >warhammer >40k its a waste of time its impossible to find what your after. I suggest if you know what your after (e.g catachan vox-caster) just search the army its from (e.g Imperial Guard or Catachan) in the bar at the top. Well after you have found the item you want the first thing you should do is "watch it" and any of the parts you want to get. Most people who put up parts of a set will most likely be selling the whole box.

When it comes to biding from personal experience, I recommend biding on it early. At first you may disagree with me but if you bid on it early the price will go up and is les likely to attract attention from other bidders.

Now to the most important part of buying things on eBay is the biding. Okay now I do not recommend waiting to the last second to bid (you may be that one second late and miss the item you desire). I believe biding in the last 5 mints is a better option. it also gives you time to bid on multiple items. Now when biding if you are biding on lets say a space marine bolter bits, if you want it and are prepared to pay $5 I recommend biding about $7 the reason is, I have been out bided buy 5 cents sometime. Now you would pay 10c more wouldn’t you. It also means if the other person is really serious about buying it he will have to bid a few times. If he wants to be nasty and sneaky buy biding in the last 2 seconds he will bid 50cents more than you realize he’s been out bided and not have any time to bid again.

Also when buying parts its a good idea to buy bits you might need most people will give you a discount on postage (users you only have to pay for one envelope). This can save you a lot of money.

Well that’s it that’s the basics for bidding on 40k parts. I really believe in learning from experience so now go out and start biding and see what works for you.
