When paying cash on pick up for a motorcycle on ebay

A quick reminder to buyers in  the market for motorcycles,  I think it might be common to agree to cancel an ebay transaction after paying cash on pick up, to save the seller their ebay fees. My dad has bought three bikes from ebay and he has done this favour for 2 of the sellers.  I warn you all to NEVER agree to do this.  The last time he did this the bike was riddled with hidden problems, clear lies and cover ups about the condition/model and history of the bike.  And because my dad canceled the transaction, he did not have a leg to stand on.  The seller simply said that the transaction never took place, and although we had reciepts, ebay would not help him, and actually banned him, for using the same photo with a watermark on it when he listed it for sale on their site, he was also unable to give any feedback about the seller to warn others, .  So, EBAY WON'T HELP YOU IF YOU DON'T FOLLOW THEIR RULES.  And the fee's aren't enough to warrant not paying.  Do yourself a favour and use the security feature's that ebay provides, it won't cost you anything :)
