I am a qualified auto electrician in brisbane australia, and have 12 years experience in my trade. In the last couple of years i have been asked to fit chinese dvd players, cd players, amps etc to customer's cars, and in doing so have discovered there is major quality issues with many of them and that they can cause damage to your car. Now i refuse to install anything that does not meet my idea of a moderate standard, and i recommend sony as the best choice. Obviously any product that has no brand name, and no outlet that you can go to in the event of problems is selling a product that is practically worthless, and as an expert in this field, i feel it is irresponsible of any seller to supply a product with full knowledge of this. Ebay is a great place to purchase anything at all and it has revolutionized the online shopping world, and it offers limited protection when buying an article, but as always you should consult an expert before paying hard earned money for a product that is potentially unsuitable or dangerous. The reason i am writing this guide is that i have encountered many potential customers who want a dvd player installed that they have bought and found out that no reputable person will install it, and the result is they feel ripped off.
