New Design! These 240 Volt Power Packs are designed for charging lead acid type batteries such as GEL; AGM and SEALED batteries. They are fully automatic in as much as they switch to trickle pulse charge when the battery is fully charged. The pulse charging ensures that the battery is kept in a fully charged condition and the plates of the battery don't get a buildup of sulfate that way your bike is always ready when you are. The charger can be left on indefinitely without damaging the battery, most batteries will slowly self discharge and the lead plates sulfate up which shortens the life of a battery. The battery charger has a charging indicator (LED} will flash to show that the unit is on trickle charge, while a constant LED shows that the unit is on full charge of 350mAmps  (approx1/3 Amp).

 These Chargers are far superior to Multi Stage charging as they are not time dependent to change from one stage to the next they will detect a fully battery regardless of its size or type, I have tested many types of chargers and always come back to these for their simplicity performance and reliability (see Graph)

The unit has been designed with ease of use in mind the plugpack has a 1.8m long lead the fused loom measures 70cm Black and 50cm for the Red lead that  you attach to the permanently to the battery  and then the charger by a 2 pin polarized  locking plug. No more unbolting seats or covers or fumbling with clip leads or working out + and -ve terminals, just unplug and - Hit the Road! 

NOTE: The Loom used in these chargers has a Fuse for safety reasons some other chargers sold on Ebay don't, you will be risking setting you investment on fire by using these un-fused looms.

I have extra leads available and can make the leads to the length you specify  and adapter to suit  BMW Type acc. socket.  I also have a cig. lighter plug with a 3 meter curly cord that you can use to charge a car battery(see manufacture's handbook for details)and a lead that has alligator clips for quick connections, just ask for a quote. So if you have more than one battery to charge you can do this quite easily, just unplug an transfer the the unit over.

This Charger has a million other uses such as Boat- Rideon Mower- Camping Gear - or the 4-wheel treasure that only gets driven on Sundays Please email me if you have any questions regarding this item or the items that are avaidabe as extra's or have a special need as I will custom build to you specifications so you get exactly what you want. Please check with you owners manual for restrictions on use of these types of items.

These charges need to detect a 12Volt battery before the charging circuit starts to charge the battery, this stops the charger arcing when connected and being damaged if incorrectly connected or short circuited, these chargers will not charge a battery that has zero volts, they require some voltage to activate charging circuit.
