Q&A

Q: Can the hair be straightened or curled?

A: Yes. You may straighten or curl the hair as if it is your own. Beware that using too much heat on a regular basis can cause the hair to become dry and brittle, which will affect the longevity and usage of the hair.

 

Q: Can I dye/color the hair?

A: Yes. You may color your hair extensions if you choose to do so. As a general rule, it is much easier to darken the hair than to lighten it. We recommend dyeing the hair darker rather than lighter since the hair extensions have already been processed and colored. It is very difficult to fade the original color of the hair. Improper dyeing can ruin the hair. We highly recommend having a professional hairdresser dye the extensions for you, as you will be able to achieve better results. Coloring the hair yourself always poses a risk of the hair not coming out the correct shade that you desire. If you cannot get to a salon, then always use professional quality hair dye and test a small sample first before proceeding.

Q: Can I wash & blow-dry the hair extensions?

A: Yes. In fact, you should shampoo and condition your hair extensions every 2-3 weeks. With proper care and usage, the extensions will last a lot longer. We also recommend using a hair treatment and or hair masque once a month to nourish and condition your extensions, especially with constant heat usage. If you chose to blow dry the hair, it should be set to the lowest setting possible. Although it is best to let your hair extensions air dry naturally after washing them.

Q: How to tell Human Hair Vs. Synthetic Hair?

A: Human hair consists of a natural protein called Keratin. With excessive heat usage and chemical processing, those protein bonds are broken down. When human hair is burned, it will immediately curl into a ball and turn into ash if squeezed. It will also have a strong and somewhat unpleasant smell. Synthetic hair, on the other hand, will slowly melt into a sticky ball rather than burn, and will have almost no smell associated with it. Take note that human hair extensions may contain very few gray hair strands and split ends. It is normal and not a quality problem.

    ♥ Use gentle shampoo to wash your hair.

    ♥ Keep your hair well conditioned.

    ♥ Use the low heat blow drying hair just as like your hair.

    ♥ Do not discover the hair on sunshine too long.

    ♥ Do not grasping the root of hair overexert when washing.

    ♥ Wash your hair and scalp every 5-10 days.  

    ♥ If you want to keep your extensions  long lasting and  smooth, my suggestion  is put some  hair oil regularly.

Using instructions

Human hair pieces already treated conditioned during production so that the clients can place it on their head immediately. however it is recommended to wash and condition them before use.

-For weft pieces, hair is double over the weft and sewn. Therefore, straighter and silkier hair tends to slip out. Before using the hair, check the weft part and reinforce any loose area to prevent the hair from shedding .Never try to separate the weft part which will case the excessive shedding.

-Detangling occurs when the hair is dry. Always use a conditioning lotion or moisturizing spray. Light dry hair condition can be cured by mixing conditioner and water.

-Before sleep, hair must be well dried to prevent from tangling.

Washing instructions

The following are general washing instructions of hair products .The specific weave or braid procedure will determine actual hair maintenance requirements, so ask your hair stylist for specific washing and maintenance instructions.

-Detangle hair from ends to roots before washing.

-Carefully wash with lukewarm water using ordinary shampoo. Do not rub or twist the hair.

-After shampooing use standard conditioner to bring shine and luster.

-Once shampooed and conditioned gently squeeze out excess water and dry hair using a towel.

-Dry and style your hair as instructed by your stylist.
