1960'S OIL ON BOARD OF A BEARDED MAN IN COLLARLESS SHIRT VINTAGE SHABBY CHIC

Description

Description:  A mid 20th Century oil on board portrait of a bearded man in a collarless shirt and jacket.  There is an indistinct monogram bottom right and it is too difficult to photograph.  The oil is presented in a deep painted wood frame typical of the 1960’s and on the back is a Frost and Reed label which gives a date of 1963.

 

Biography:  No details

 

Size:  Image is approx 23.5 x 31 cm and with frame is approx 30 x 38 cm.

 

Condition:  There is all over paint flaking which gives it a very ‘shabby chic’ look.  It would benefit from a clean.  The frame has knocks and paint loss to corners and edges.
