YOU ARE BIDDING ON THIS
holsten annual tankard
1989 + certificate
These tankards were, I believe, given to Publicans and other sellers of Holsten products.
It has a pewter lid and what I presume is a transfer printed exterior. This one features the Hamburg Admiralty's fast flagship.
It is in good condition with no chips, cracks or restoration and stands approximately 9.2 inches or 23.25 cm high.
I have as usual shown a number of pictures which can all be enlarged for you to see the condition for yourself. All white dots/blotches are light reflection not faults - my apologies.
I think the pictures speak for themselves but if I can tell you any more please ask.
If you are buying from outside the UK please see my feedback to see that I regularly send items overseas.
ITEM WEIGHT: 1500gms - Before Packing
Although some of our earlier listings will show that we accept cheques, for this and all future listings we now only accept payments by PayPal. This gives you and us greater security and enables you to receive your item(s) more quickly.
Please see "Shipping" below for details of when an item requires insurance and when it is optional.
INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: Please note that Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or P&P charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying. We do not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as 'gifts' - UK and International government regulations prohibit such behavior
POSTAL COSTS: Based on the weight of the item which is listed above we have shown two options (unless the item is likely to sell for more than £46.00) for postage in the UK, one for European destinations and one for the rest of the world.
INSURANCE: Any item, or combination of items, that sells to one buyer for £46.00 or more will only be sent using an insured method of post. Insurance for China, Stamps or Coins is only available in the UK using Special Delivery. If an item does not have an insurance option (Recorded or Special Delivery in the UK - Airsure or Signed For outside the UK) then please wait for me to send you an invoice before making the payment. If you are outside the UK and require Insurance on an item that sold for £46.00 or less then please ask me.
POSTAGE & PACKING PRICE PROMISE: Please see our feedback to confirm the items are packed well and please bear in mind that cheap packaging is not good and good packaging is not cheap. The postal costs we show include a small cost towards the packaging used. This is usually £1.00 per item although for small items that will go in a jiffy bag or boarded envelope then it is usually £0.50. We have to guess the weight of packing and therefore occasionally we incorrectly estimate the amount - if you think we have overcharged you please tell us and if we have, based on the above, then we will give you a refund AND THAT'S A PROMISE. (N.B. This does not apply to Multiple Purchases unless you have requested and/or been given a COMBINED price for the items bought).
SHIPPING TIME: Items purchased will be sent within 3 WORKING DAYS (this excludes weekends and Bank Holidays) after receipt of cleared funds. I will email you when I send your item.
COMBINING ITEMS: If you are buying more than one item I will be happy to combine these where possible to reduce postage costs. Any item over 2KG will be expensive to send to addresses outside the UK and it may be neccessary to send it in two parcels.
I will only combine Ceramic Items up to a maximum of 2KG as above this weight the cost (for UK Special Delivery) jumps from £9.05 to £22.70 and the risk of breakage, in my opinion, increases dramatically.
PAYMENT TERMS: If you need to contact me please do so within three days of the end of the sale. I would appreciate payment within 3 days of sending you an invoice but if there is going to be a delay or you are waiting to bid on other items please let know.
PICTURES & QUESTIONS: It is said a picture is worth a thousand words and therefore we will always try to provide you with enough pictures for you to see the condition of the item for yourself. In buying an item from us you agree that you have looked at any pictures provided and are happy with the condition of the item as shown. If you would like additional pictures all you need to do is ask. Please also check at the bottom of the listing to see if there is any further information in response to a question asked by another eBay member.
SATISFACTION GUARANTEED: I describe all my items as accurately as I can and will always answer any questions as soon as possible. If you buy an item from me and it is materially different to that described I will refund the purchase price and original post and packing (not the cost of return post or packing) in full when I receive the item back in the same condition I sent it.
I have only had to refund money on a couple of items due to breakage. However, if a claim needs to be made on the insurance it is a condition laid down by the Post Office that they have to be able to view the item and all the original packaging therefore please do not dispose of this before you are totally satisfied.
Please see our "ME" page for more details of the type of goods we normally sell - our policy on returns - and other information about us. However, please be aware that we don't claim to be experts in any area therefore if you think something should be included with an item but it is not in the description or not shown in a photograph then it is probably not included - if in doubt please ask.
For any information about this item or extra pictures, please email me using the "Ask Seller a Question" link at the top of this listing. We do not end Auction listings early and any listing that does not have a Buy it Now price on will not be sold that way.
If you require an answer to a question please don't wait until just before the item ends. After 6pm (UK time) or at weekends it is quite possible that I will not see your email until the next working day which I count as Monday to Friday 8.30am to 6pm.
