2 Vintage Holmegaard Crystal Votive Holders 'Capriole' by Sidse Werner

This pair is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or staining to the crystal.

They are 'Capriole' votive candle holders, designed by Sidse Werner for Holmegaard, probably in the 1990's.

A little confusingly these candle holders have 'Royal Copenhagen Crystal' stickers. This is because from 1985 until recently there was a collaborative group known as 'Royal Scandinavia Group' to which both Holmegaard and Royal Copenhagen belonged. They badged Holmegaard glass pieces with 'Royal Copenhagen Crystal' as Royal Copenhagen was a more internationally recognised name. It was still produced by Holmegaard Glassworks.

They measure 10cm in diameter and 4.5cm tall. They feature a radiating ridged spiral from the base.
