Always use good quality shampoo and conditioning products. This will
enhance the life of your hair extensions and also help them to look
better. Use a good (leave-in) conditioner to keep your hair soft.
Avoid hair products that contain alcohol. Alcohol makes hair dry. Ask
your stylist what would be the best products for your hair. We
recommend you to shampoo, condition and moisturise (very important)
your hair every 2 - 3 days.
The extensions do not receive your natural scalp oils so they need to
have moisture added every wash. If you don't moisturise your hair
extensions they will become brittle and break easily leading to split
and ratty ends. We recommend a good moisturiser for Hair Extensions.
When shampooing make sure your hair is not bunched up or piled on top
of your head. This will tangle the hair. Instead gently wash
vertically in one direction only.
Wash your hair immediately after swimming. If possible avoid getting
hair in salt water as the salt can take all the moisture out of the
hair and it will lead to tangling of the hair. If you do choose to
swim in salt water we recommend you to wash your hair immediately. For
best results use a spray in conditioner after swimming.
You must NEVER sleep on wet hair. Sleeping on wet hair is known to
matte hair which makes it very difficult to keep the hair the way you
want. Just make sure your hair is completely dry before you go to
