I had wanted a Cameron putter for awhile now. After switching from my (original Anser) Ping putter is was a wonderful step up. Everything just feels better with the Cameron. I love the added weight (and the fact I can change the amounts if I want). It is taking a little time to gauge my ranges, but that's to be expected when changing to a heavier putter. I would recommend the California Sonoma model to anyone who has been using a blade style putter but wants the added weight and better feel... Definitely worth the price!!!

Starting with the looks while @ play: AWESOME! Looks great coming out of the bag @ headcover. Looking down and lining up putts is very easy with the face shape and aim line. (Easy to square up) Cost is irrelevant if you want to play with a great milled putter. Wasn't sure if I wanted a milled putter, would recommend trying one out @ your local pro shop first as spin will dramatically be affected on miss hits if you chop at the ball or pull it just the same. Milled takes some getting used to. I personally had a heavier weighted putter prior to purchasing the S.C. sonoma (2012 model) so long lag putts are lacking distance I'm used to, but luckily the weights are interchangeable. I do like the 15g weights for feel so more rounds will help eliminate that problem anyway. Sound is great on the putt as a mishit will definately sound different than a true stroke, as will feel. Hope this helps with any wanting to purchase what seems to be the putter that will definately give you the confidence and feedback to score!Read full review
This putter (2012 california sonoma) was a 20th wedding anniversary present and if i didn't like the putter it was going on the wall. Previous putter was an Odyssey white hot tour #5. I have used this putter for two comp rounds, plus a couple of hours on the practice green and i am really impressed in how it performs. Sits beautifully in the hand due to the pistolero grip, has a lovely soft feel to it, yet is just firm enough to give a good sense of distance control. The way the putter sits on the ground instills confidence. It feels as soft as my previous putter, but the sound has more of a click to it. Only downside, this putter is not as forgiving as some and if you do not put a positive stroke on the ball it goes nowhere. But really, putting is not that hard!
Having owned scotty cameron putters before I know the high quality they are. This one is no different. I like the bronze finish on it and it has nice feel to it . However, I probably won't keep it because it The look at address looks a little closed face (aimed left). So I'll be putting it up for sale soon.
Dear Community; The Scotty Cameron putter that I purchased on Ebay is just a work of art. The Sonoma Scotty Cameron putter that I now own is a great feeling putter and my putts go a lot straighter. I am most certainly pleased with this product. George James Delgado
