The only problem is I can't find how to save channels to frequencies. I work with various clients and each have their own channels, (they know their channel numbers not frequencies) and I have to tune in to there's. The issue is I have to find out which frequency they are on and then tune mine to there's. Perhaps someone can tell me how to save the different frequencies to different channels and store them. The manual does not explain this process.

It will do the job, but not very well. The dual PTT is great for the baufeng radios. The PTT button only works intermittently on the mic I received. Very poor quality mic and speaker. Will be using another single button speaker mic, this will go on the shelf as a spare.

If you want a pocketable radio and torn between uv5r and uv9r then get this one. FM reception is also good for music. If you want a more robust and powerful one on a limited budget then go for uv9r

I bought 2 cables, tried them with my two UV-82 radios, no joy. They don't work. The charger flashes and does not charge the radio. Unfortunately I'd say it's a bad design and not compatible with my UV-82s.
