A slotted cut out is provided to feed the wire through, therefore no disconnection of wiring is necessary.
The elongated slot on the bottom, accommodates most sizes of downlights and also allows the cover to be fitted close to the joists.
Ventilation holes helps to prevent excessive build up of heat.

Delivery Policy
Please be patient, items are despatched 1st available working day*, after cleared funds have been received, normally orders placed before 12 noon are sent out the same working day*. PLEASE DO NOT expect to receive your item on Monday if you placed your order on Friday afternoon.
We use Australia Post and couriers to deliver our items, a signature is preferable or alternatively your work address.
A calling card will be left if you are not available to accept the items, however you can advise us if you are happy, to leave your items in a discreet place (within reason).
Deliveries to WA, NT and outside of Metropolitan suburbs can take upto 5-7 working days. If in doubt give us a call before placing your order.
No tracking is available on PO Box addresses and items sent by Australia Post to regional areas.
* Working days are Mon-Fri during except public holidays in NSW, our hours of operation are 9am-5pm Mon-Fri Sydney time.
REFUND POLICY
Buyer pays for return of items to us, if we have agreed they can be returned.
Returns accepted by prior arrangement only. within 14 days, only if items are defective, we will send items back to manufacturer for verification of alleged fault, any items found to be NOT DEFECTIVE, we will pursue all costs we have incurred.
DO NOT RETURN ANY ITEMS WITHOUT OUR CONSENT.
WE do not exchange or make refunds for items, simply because you have changed your mind.
Our returns policy is in compliance with/exceeds your statutory rights under Australian Consumer Law.
We will endeavour to assist our overseas buyers within reason, so they are not at a disadvantage to our Australian Customers.
