27 Mhz or UHF CB Antenna bases adaptors desined to provide stability and weatherproofing
for a standard whip antenna kit. These parts are ideal for adapting a cb base
onto the flat bootlid [trunklid] panel at the front or back of some car designs
and some boat designs etc. They have been unpacked from their plastic bags recently to take a
photo and would be packed in a replacement bag when sold.
Example of a flat panel boot [trunk] lid is the left or right edge of a Chrysler Charger
or the edge of the bonnet on many cars. It saves you from drilling a hole in the car,
but also allows a greater strength than a magnetic base. It's a semi-permanent solution
for a CB whip antenna base adaption. I have used these on many vehicles,
and that's why I have kept so many of them. I use them for my mobile Ham radio also.
