Very good value, good for electronics
I've had this model for over a year now and it's really good. Compared to similar but significantly higher cost scopes I use at work this is about as sharp and bright. In addition, it keeps good focus when changing the zoom which not all zoom scopes do. The base is quite heavy and very solid with rubber feet to keep it from moving. One annoyance is that there's no key on the horizontal bar so the scope can tilt sideways when extending it. That's also a potential advantage if you want to tilt it to get a better view. The design of the stand limits the maximum height above the table a bit, but if that's a big issue it's technically possible to mount the focus rack above the horizontal bar to get more height. The stand is otherwise very good with two pivot points which makes it easy to move ... I've had this model for over a year now and it's really good. The 80 led light is bright enough for electronics work at all zoom ranges and has a pretty wide dimming range. I ground the inner diameter of the light a bit to make it fit over the barlow lens which gives about 1" more height clearance compared to using the included screw in mount. It's a US plug, but it runs fine on 230V as specified with a plug adapter.

Nice Scope But Had a Few Very Minor Problems
The scope is nice for the price but it had some small problems. Cons: The screws that attached the rubber feet to the base were too long and extended beyond the feet and scratched the lab bench. Replaced the screws. The locking force of dual locking knobs on the horizontal boom was not very effective at keeping the head from rotating. They have to be cranked down extremely tight. Too tight! Pros: The zoom and focus is smooth. The image is sharp. The circular LED illuminator has a dimming control which is handy. The base is plenty heavy. All in all, a nice piece of gear.The scope is nice for the price but it had some small problems.
