This is a basic set of thread cutters. It comes with a handy identification tool which helps to match threads. In my case, it paid for itself in a couple of days because I was able to repair and recycle hard to replace bolts and internal threads on an older vehicle. For example, I easily recut a stripped thread on a custom high tensile transmission shaft flange bolt and 2 other bolts which were threaded into a cylinder head. The range of sizes and threads appears to be quite useful and the tools appear to be strong enough to last.

The set is very cheap,so there is no point discussing quality. The tap wrench is so soft that it will not hold the tap even for one little threading operation, so expect to use your own or resort to shifter… Other than that so far 1 tap threaded 5 holes and I expect the same from the dies. It is what it is - a great starter kit for occasional use.

Die handle is so soft, it fell apart before it even started cutting a thread. Now using vice-grips to hold dies. Not very sharp either. Older dies I have cut same material easier. Haven't used any taps yet, Would suggest that if you needed to cut a few threads then a higher quality set would be better.

only bought this product for light gauge work its ok not much variety but depends what you are trying to do, if new to these tools talk to a tool shop to get better understanding of thread size etc

Went to go use the 0.9 dye and it hadn't even been made correctly, there was still metal burs on it from when they were made, then noticed the material used is weak, waste of money to be honest.
