“Noah´s Ark” is the first investment coin issued by the Central Bank of Armenia. All coins are legal tender in the Republic of Armenia at their nominal value of 500, 200 and 100 Dram. Noah´s Ark is the most expressive symbol of Armenian history. The legend of the Great Flood and Noah´s Ark is well known all over the world. For centuries representatives of different nations have been looking for Noah´s Ark at the top of Mount Ararat.

Issue of the “Noah´s Ark” investment coin and its acquisition by investors, numismatists and collectors around the world, will widely promote recognition of Armenia's ancient history and cultural values.

The coin’s obverse depicts the Armenian Coat of Arms, the Dram value, the Republic’s inscription in Armenian and English, the purity, the weight, and the year of issue.

The coins reverse depicts Noah’s Ark, a white dove with an olive leaf in its beak, and the twin peaks of Mt. Ararat with a rising sun in the background. The edge of the coin is inscribed “Noah’s Ark” in both Armenian and English.
