Wooden toy boxes look great in any bedroom or playroom and are very sturdy for children to put their toys away in. You can choose from a variety of wood finishes and sizes, with either open tops or lids. Fabric boxes can be really useful if you want something that is flexible and also easily washable. Most fabric toy boxes come in wonderful prints of favourite children’s characters so your child will really like being able to choose one that they like.

Rather than a traditional toy box, you may like the look of storage racks, which are perfect toy organisers. The rack has a set of shelves that you can place open bins on and keep toys and games in different categories. This idea is a great learning tool for children and teaches them how to sort, organise and be tidy all at the same time.

If you do not fancy a toy box or a rack, one genius invention is that of the portable toy organiser. The toy organiser is basically a big mat, which children can use to play on. When playtime is up, you simply leave all the toys on the mat then you fold the mat around them, pull on the string and you have a tidy bag to put away in the cupboard.
