THIS IS JUST A GREAT ORIGINAL PIECE.  ONE OF TWO ORIGINAL ILLUMINATED MANUSCRIPT PAGES I ACQUIRED FROM A LOCAL ESTATE.  THE WRITING ON THE PAGES IS IN ARABIC SO I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IT SAYS.  BASED ON THE LOOKS OF THE PAPER AND THE WRITING THIS DATES TO AT LEAST THE 19TH CENTURY BUT I ALSO BET THAT IT IS A LOT OLDER THAN THAT.  IF ANYONE CAN READ THE WRITING OR KNOW ANYMORE DETAILS ABOUT WHAT THESE MANUSCRIPT PAGES ARE ABOUT, I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE AN EMAIL.  THIS ONE IS A WONDERFUL VIEW OF A BUTTERFLY SITTING ON A LEAF OF FLOWER.  A STUNNING ORIGINAL PAINTING.  THE PAINTING ITSELF MEASURES 4 X 2 1/2 INCHES,  IT IS SURROUNDED ON THE TOP AND BOTTOM WITH GOLD BORDERS AND BLACK AND GOLD AND RED ARABIC WRITING.  REALLY BEAUTIFUL.  ON THE BACK OF THE PAGE IS WONDERFUL ARABIC CALLIGRAPHY.  THE TOTAL SHEET MEASURES 6 3/4 X 3 1/2 INCHES.  THIS ONE SHOWS A COUPLE OF SMALL HOLES ALONG THE LEFT MARGIN BUT NOTHING TOO BAD.  JUST A BEAUTIFUL ORIGINAL ILLUMINATED MANUSCRIPT PAGE.  THE PAGE HAS BEEN ARCHIVAL FRAMED WITH MATTING AND GLASS ON BOTH SIDES SO YOU CAN SEE BOTH SIDES OF THE PAGE.  REALLY QUITE COOL.  WOOD FRAME AS WELL IS COMPLIMENTARY AND READY TO HANG.  JUST A GREAT PRESENTATION OF A WONDERFUL ANTIQUE PAGE.  FRAME MEASURES 12 3/8 X 9 1/4 INCHES.  IF YOU LIKE THIS WORK, MAKE SURE YOU CHECK MY OTHER LISTINGS FOR ANOTHER PAGE FROM THE SAME MANUSCRIPT.  ADD ONLY $4.00 MORE FOR S&H&I IF YOU WIN BOTH.
