This stair stepper is perfect for me. It was fairly easy to assemble (had to use a little creativity). The only negatives is the instructions weren't clear but I found a video online. Also it said you could adjust the tension but you really can't. However this doesn't make it less effective. It is sturdy but compact. Since I don't feel safe returning to the gym this is a great alternative. It's definitely worth the price. I really, really love it and recommend it highly. It also came quicker than I expected.

This stepper works for my purposes. I am 70yo and want to retain strength for stair climbing. As a tool for resistance training it is great. I don't use it for aerobic w orkouts and question how comfortable it would be for longer workouts. It is sturdy and easy to assemble. The step counter is a joke. The display is too dim to read in ordinary room light and it resets only if the battery is removed.

I am 73yrs old, and I purchased this stepper to help me firm my legs and butt. But most important to me was to help with my balance. It is easy to use and I can do it at my own pace. Started a week ago with about 20 steps before I said enough, now I am up to 150 steps. I count steps because I can track it better. Soon I might make it up to 10 minutes. LOL anyway that is my goal. It is compact and easily pushes close to a wall when not in use. As an older adult I was able to assemble it myself. It seems to be relatively easy on knees and hips. There is an adjustable tension knob.
