This auction comes with a 12 months parts and labour warranty. If the tent is damaged on arrival, we can ONLY cover it if you purchased delivery insurance.
Our new trailer is covered by the manufacturer's warranty for a period of 12 months (3 months for commercial use) from date of purchase against defects in workmanship and material (tyres, wheels & brake pads excluded). Please retain your sales docket as proof of purchase if making a claim through Cozylifeaustralia. Trailers must be returned to our factory for warranty repairs.
The warranty does not cover postage costs. Customers also must check thoroughly if the tent was damaged during delivery, and report any damage to us within 14 days.
- All Tents are checked prior to delivery to ensure all items are present and packed correctly.
- We are committed to working with you through any issues that you may have, in accordance with our policies.
Return Policy:
- Tent must be returned to us within 7 days, with postage at purchaser's expense (both ways). Returns are only accepted when the item is returned in brand new & unused condition.
- We will exchange the tent within 7 days of the item being received by us (postage fees not included).
- Any faulty Part must to be sent back to us at the purchaser's expense. We will process the replacement as COD.

Canvas Features:
Our canvas tents are double stitched Poly-cotton. Poly-cotton combines the strength of the polyester with the properties of cotton to produce a superior product that is both strong and breathable. A breathable fabric allows air to flow through the fabric without sacrificing waterproofing, creating a product that is more comfortable to shelter and sleep in.
Pre-trip Waterproofing:
Although canvas is a waterproof material, it is important that you take the right steps to prevent leaks. Before going away on your maiden trip, you need to "season" your canvas by wetting it down with a hose. The moisture allows the Poly-cotton material to expand and swell, which closes up the stitching holes, further waterproofing the product. For best results, we recommend setting your tent up in the backyard for a few days and nights.
- Choose a sunny day when you first set up your tent.
- Wet down the entire tent two times throughout the day, allowing at least four hours in between soakings to allow the canvas to dry.
- Repeat this process as required on the following days.
- Once you are satisfied that the canvas is keeping out water, apply a silicone-free waterproofing agent and allow it dry again.
Don't be shy when soaking your canvas (Bearing in mind water restrictions). Emulating a half hour period of heavy rain is the best way to soak your canvas.
CAUTION: Never apply heat to dry your canvas, air dry only.
Using a spray-on product that contains a fluoropolymer formula will result in perfectly waterproofed canvas in no time. Apply the product evenly and allow the canvas to dry thoroughly. To test the canvas, wet it down again. If the water beads off the canvas, then you know the treatment worked. If not, dry off the canvas and repeat the coating process. Never use a silicone based treatment as they can degrade the canvas.
Post-trip care
When you get back from your trip, set up your tent or trailer again and hose it down. Wash off any dirt, sap or animal droppings as soon as possible before they degrade the canvas. Tent pegs can also leave rust marks if they are wrapped inside a tent or trailer, so use a designated tent peg bag.
If you do end up with mouldy canvas, don't panic! Rectify it as soon as possible with a mould treatment from your local camping store. Only use products specifically designed for canvas. Never apply soaps, detergents or other cleaning agents. If you have canvas near a sink, try to ensure you do not get these materials on the canvas. If you do, dry immediately with a cloth and wash over with clean water as soaps and detergents can damage the waterproofing. Waterproofing should be reapplied every couple of years as regular maintenance.
Tip:
Keep substances such as cleaning fluids, insecticides, petrol, oil, solvents, kerosene or similar materials well away. Even the use of aerosols such as hairspray, deodorant or aeroguard in the vicinity of the canvas can be harmful.
