simple replacement, takes around 10 minutes, fitted 2 weeks ago and working fine.
new and second hand aerials are not available for the au/nu fairlane models, this is really the only option, mast housing does need to be opened up to remove the remaining parts of the rope, other than that, feeding in the new rope and mast is simple. Took me around 15/20 mins to do.
