Fabulous early Victorian 9ct rose gold pocket watch chain with a 9ct gold seal and 9ct gold pocket watch key. The chain has fancy links and there is no wear. Looks to have not been worn very much. Marked on the clip 9ct and on a tag at one end of one chain. That is how they marked these types of chains. Each link would be too difficult to mark. This is an early Victorian watch chain and would date around 1850. The rings that hold the clip do not have a gap and are sealed so this is how this chain was meant to be worn. One chain is slightly longer than the other so it would hang lower when wearing. The gold seal has a blood stone and the gold key a white stone one side and a pink stone on the other side. The key is yellow gold and rose gold. Both seal and key are in good condition. No damage or repairs. The chain is in mint condition. No damage, wear or repairs. This chain has extra links that hold the seal and key and they could be added to make a nice long chain to wear as a necklace. A rare and almost unique antique item. Weighs with seal and key 28.3 grams. Measures from T bar to clip 9" long or 22-1/2cm.
