      • This buy it now  today is for this wonderful antique/ vintage European homespun,  hand-woven  linen/hemp sack~*~ What a lovely sack, BEAUTIFUL natural linen striations in this sack, they are amazing! ~ You can see the weaver has woven a pattern by using paler natural linen for the warp in places, it is  LOVELY. .It would make AMAZING pillows, with the natural stripe~   A beautiful sack, full of European history. Totally organic, eco-friendly indeed~*~* I have attached some photographs of my textiles in use, lovely for SO many uses!! ~*~* ( SACK 225)

      • These wonderful sacks make perfect upholstery fabric, bench cushion, outdoor furniture covers, bolster pillow for beds ( simply insert king sized pillow) , sofa pillows,  floor pillow, ( simply fill with feather comforter or body pillow insert and add velcro or zip to the end!)  laundry bag, table runner, bath mat ( hemp is naturally mold and mildew resistant) , Beach bag,  roman shade, hand towels, you name it! They are also perfect for upholstery projects as the fabric is wonderful and very very durable! ~  This lovely sack measures approx. 3.75 feet by 22 inches( of course it is twice the lenght as it has both sides~*~)  ~*~

      • It is one long piece of linen hand stitched together at each side with a wonderful heavy hemp thread, a lovely feature~ This sack is has some light storage dirt that will wash~*~ Lovely sack indeed. Simply machine wash, tumble dry!!

 

      • ~*~These textiles are, by nature, extremely Eco-friendly! The average age of these textiles is 100 years and they were naturally home grown, home retted ( in local lakes and ponds) and woven by hand. These textiles are being re-cycled today and showing off  the extreme craftsmanship of past generations! Yet another feature that makes these textiles extremely eco-friendly is their durability. These textiles were designed to endure generations of constant use~ and will have an extremely long life.       • The linen is home grown, home retted and hand woven. These sacks are 100% machine washable! I wash them on a regular warm cycle and then hang to dry ( however you can tumble dry too!). If there is dirt present simply add Oxyclean or similar~I like to add a fabric conditioner to the final rinse like Downy Ultra for added softness~*~  hemp was built to last, and last .....and last...the more you use it the more wonderful it becomes~ most times there isn't even a need for ironing after wash~ perfect for easy lifestlyes~*~
