ONE Himalayan Salt Lamp / Electric Aromatherapy Diffuser

These stunning oil diffusers combine all the benefits of a Himalayan Salt Lamp with that of an aromatherapy oil diffuser by adding a metal dish to the top of the lamp which is warmed by the lamp's globe. You can either use the lamp on its own, or add water and oil to the dish as you would with a normal candle-powered oil burner to get the benefits of aromatherapy at the same time. As the globe only gently warms the dish, there is no problem if the water boils dry.

All of our Himalayan Salt products are handcrafted from 100% pure mountain rock salt, millions of years old. Each lamp comes in a 'natural' finish, and as such every lamp is different in shape, colour and weight, but their crystal size is generally approximately 1.5 - 2kg (usually slightly more refined / cylindrical than the one in the picture). Approximate height is 15cm, with the salt crystal positioned on a circular timber pedestal, and comes complete with Australian electrical power cord (with inline power switch) and one standard globe - the cable mechanism is held in the salt crystal by a spring clip and is easily removable for access to the globe

Please note - it is usually recommended that you use your lamp for only a few hours at a time, as the globes do tend to overheat and have a shorter life than usual. If you wish to run your salt lamp for extended periods or overnight, we now also list globes for OVEN use which are designed to withstand higher temperatures and so should not burn out as quickly in your salt lamp. Replacement globes (standard and oven type) are available, listed separately. Our standard globes are also available in various colours to give your lamp a personal colour tint to suit your space or mood - see below

HIMALAYAN SALT LAMPS
Many people are aware of the benefits of Himalayan Salt lamps. According to scientific research, heated salt crystal lamps can be thought of as natural ion generators. When a salt lamp is warmed - either through an electric globe or a candle - it absorbs water from the atmosphere (don't put in a room with a fish tank!), and through the process of this water mixing with the 'neutral' salt and being re-evaporated, it is believed to help neutralise excessive positive ions in the air, caused by things like computers, televisions and other electro-magnetic fields. The process is also believed to have a CLEANING effect on the atmosphere, which may be especially helpful for relieving the symptoms associated with asthma and allergies in general The lamps also give off a gentle, warm glow in colours generally believed to be soothing and calming, encouraging a sense of security and peace ELECTRICAL STANDARDS / GLOBES
Our electric lamps are compatible to Australian electrical standards. Each comes with cabling including a switch positioned on the cable, and one standard clear globe. Additional standard globes are available in clear as well as coloured, if you wanted to give your lamp a personal colour tint to suit your space, or in OVEN type (Crompton) globes designed to better withstand high temperatures from long-term use. PAYMENT

Payment may be made by DIRECT DEPOSIT (preferred), PAYPAL or VISA / MASTERCARD if you call your number through during business hours for us to process through our own EFTPOS facilities. Please make your full payment within 72 hours of auction end in order to avoid the item being relisted. If you need additional time to pay, simply make contact and let us know. If paying by Direct Deposit please add the Ebay AUCTION number as a reference otherwise there may be a delay in processing your order.

SHIPPING

We're happy to combine postage, and always aim for the most economical postage option available. Australia Post's smallest package size ('under 500g') fits a number of small items, so to get best value for money on your postage, take a look at the other items in our store. Pay the most expensive postage price, and then add the 'per additional item' price for each extra item - in many cases smaller extra items such as essential oils or incense post for free! This means you can purchase an unlimited number of these items and pay the same low postage cost. Just check the postage tab on each listing to confirm it's 'additional item' postage cost.

Our postage costs are capped at a MAXIMUM of $15.00*, no matter how many items you buy* (*bulk purchases of empty glassware or Himalayan Salt are NOT included in the postage cap). You just need to request a total from the Checkout screen and wait for us to manually send through an invoice with the updated postage cost. Please don't rely on Ebay to be accurate if you checkout without an invoice - you're likely to be overcharged. If you want to know the exact postage charge before purchasing, just message us with your order list and postcode and we'd be happy to give you a quote. Items will be shipped as soon as possible after payment has been received (we post daily), and you'll receive an update via Ebay messaging as soon as your order has been shipped.
