For international packages they all have to go through customs. Customs sometimes sends it through with barley a glance and other times they will hold it for a while to inspect. Unfortunatly, Customs can hold a package as long as they choose. With first class international the only way to find out where it is once it has left my hands is for you to call your local customs office. Russia tends to be the slowest of all the countries when it comes to inspecting their packages (not sure if they have more packages going through there then the other countries, or if they just inspect more of them or what, but in two years I have seen those packages take the longest to arrive.) I have seen first class take up to 8 weeks in Russia (with 3-6 being the average) and up to 6 weeks in other countries (with 3-4 being the average) If you need it by a certain date please choose one of the other two shipping choices available. Priority takes about 1-4 weeks with 2-4 being the average and express is typically there in about 8 days. |
