BILLY'S BOOK FOR BLOKES
Anthony William Brownless
From beer-battered basics to the birds and the bees, everything the modern bloke needs to know
The definitive guide to being a bloke in modern times - how to host a BBQ, dress for a range of occasions, and charm the in-laws.
Billy Brownless is a good bloke. He likes a beer and a bet. Loves his footy, the Darl and his kids. But Billy is worried that blokes are becoming extinct, that before long they'll be like the Tasmanian Tiger - just a rare sighting reported every now and again.
This archetypal loveable larrikin shares his wisdom on sport and life with good humour and great hilarity.
There's a lot more to being a bloke than meets the eye.
Billy is a Geelong Football Club legend - he retired in 1996 having played in four losing grand finals. He wept publicly when the Cats won the premiership in 2007. Originally from Jerilderie, he famously kicked a footy 80 metres over a silo, and also kicked a winning goal in a preliminary final after the siren. Billy is part of the Channel Nine Footy Show and co-host of SEN 116's popular radio breakfast show. Billy is just the expert required for this book: he has first-hand experiences of footy, cricket, golf, darts and gambling. And drinking (responsibly, of course).
