The chipset used is a Cortex A9 Amlogic 8726 with Mali400 GPU (GPU the same as in all the tablets we sell), delivering comprehensive video format support and performance.

Multi-format HD Media Player
Virtually all HD video and audio formats are supported so allowing you to play all your media content, whether stored on an attached USB storage device or from the network. Key modern video formats like MKV, MP4, M2TS are all supported. As is high quality audio in FLAC, MP3, WMA, AAC formats. Photos stored locally (SD card / USB) or via the network can be displayed in awesome quality on your TV.

Full Android  4.0.3 
The Bluetimes Smart TV offers a full installation of Android 4.0.3. You can install any App that is available for Android with no limitations. Android 4.0.3 ICS runs quickly and is stable. Features specific to running Android on a TV (remote/interface enhancements) are tested and run well on this version of Android.

Great Build Quality 
The box itself is tiny, and beautifully built in brushed Aluminium. The remote is one of the best looking we've seen at any price, and remote range is very good.

Internal Wi-Fi(n) + Wired Ethernet
Fast Wi-Fi(n) is built into the box making it easy to connect to your home Wi-Fi network for internet/streaming use, or to access networked media via a home network. The supplied Wi-Fi antenna guarantees a strong fast Wi-Fi signal. Of course, if you'd rather you can connect using the 10/100 LAN port.
 
3G Wi-Fi Hotspot  
The Bluetimes Smart TV can act as a Wi-Fi hotspot for a 3G broadband dongle. Just insert your 3G dongle into the player and choose the Mobile-AP option in Android. Your 3G signal is now available to the whole home over Wi-Fi!
 
Compatible With All TVs 
If you have an older TV without any media or internet capability then the Bluetimes Smart TV is ideal. It comes with a composite (red/white/yellow) cable which is compatible with many older TVs (or which can be inserted into a cheap SCART converter e.g. here). Older TV resolutions of 480p and 576P (PAL) are available.

Full Play Store (Android Market) 
Google Play Store is fully supported so you can easily download all your favourite Apps. BBC iPlayer, Twitter, Facebook, Angry Birds, Google Maps, Draw Something are all available in Play Store and work well (**some Apps require optional RF mouse).

Great Connectivity 
You get 3xUSB ports on the right of the player for maximum expandability (i.e. simultaneous RF keyboard/mouse, external HDD, 3G dongle). Perfect for viewing photos/video from a camera, the Bluetimes Smart TV has an SD card slot built into it's left side. There are both coaxial and TOSLINK outputs for HD audio and both composite and component breakout ports for video. As well as the built in Wi-Fi you also get a standard Ethernet LAN port. Considering the price, the level of connectivity is incredible.

Easy Operation By Remote 
One of the most impressive things about the Bluetimes Smart TV is the ease of use with the supplied conventional remote. All media playback features, Youtube, and the web browser are accesible and easy to use with the standard remote when using the media player launcher.

Optional RF Mouse/Keyboard
You can optionally use an RF (wireless) mouse or keyboard. No drivers are needed, and every mouse/keyboard we've tested so far worked simply by just plugging it in. Using a mouse makes many Android Apps easier to use. We will be selling a RF mouse to go with the Bluetimes Smart TV very soon.

Custom Media Player Launcher Or Standard Android 
You can optionally run a Bluetimes traditional Media Player interface or the usual Android launcher. We prefer standard Android because it allows you to customise the home screen. See photos to the right of both options.

We have been hugely impressed by the Bluetimes Smart TV. It is a rock solid piece of hardware that combines playing all your media with succesfully bringing all the goodness of Android to your TV.
