This is vintage cutlery and shows the normal signs of use with some marks on the handles and blades. Every knife is made the traditional way with superior quality hollow handles which are made from a man made resin of the highest quality called Tusca (Xylonite), and blades which are made from world famous Sheffield stainless steel which have the CHRISTOPHER JOHNSON & Co. SHEFFIELD ENGLAND STAINLESS STEEL logo on them.
All pieces will need cleaning and I would suggest using AUTSOL CREAM METAL POLISH cleaner for both the blades and the handles.
I have alway found it just the job for vintage stainless and carbon steel blades, but more recently have been using it to clean up the bone effect handles.
These can have a build up on them of decades of limescale, I find AUTOSOL cream cleaner has just enough abrasive qualities to slowly remove these with repeat rubbing to reveal the smoother Bone effect handle.
