JODSHOP is a family ran business which has been trading now since the 1990s, horse owners ourselves we have a good level of understanding of the needs of both horse and rider, we are happy to help where we can so please do not hesitate to "Contact Us" by email. We offer a genuine and honest service, we are not infallible but we do provide the best service we can.
We have a rural premises in the Thames Valley, which if you are local you are very welcome to visit but please telephone first as we do not operate constant working hours as such but do live round the corner so can be very flexible.
We have what we feel are a good range of products, we keep a close eye on quality and operate a full returns policy in case of problems, this has recently been extended to 14 working days to allow you a little more time. Please see our "Returns Policy" for further details
We accept all forms of payment, Paypal being the most commonly used.

We DO NOT accept international money orders, all international customers need to make payment using Paypal please.
We try to post out orders within 2 days, sometimes we can make same or next day but rather than disappoint, we specify 2 working days to be safe.
MAXIMUM UK Mainland postage costs are capped at £5.95... this does not apply to overseas postage costs. In all cases if an over-payment occurs, we refund the method of payment accordingly.
Royal Mail services are used for smaller items, larger ones being sent by a courier service, both services aim to deliver within 3 working days, again this can be faster but not guaranteed, so please leave enough time for your order to arrive if you have a show or event pending. If in doubt, please call first to check if faster delivery of your item is an option.
Lastly, but not leastly, sometimes there are problems with Royal Mail or the Couriers, sometimes collections fail and deliveries go astray, this is life !!! We do our level best to make sure that these problems, if they occur are dealt with as swiftly as possible. These situations are just as frustrating for us and yourselves, so please be patient and understanding. Aggressive emails help no-one and do not get the problem sorted any sooner.
We do ship internationally but parcels over 2kg in weight will need a specific quotation and frankly is not cost effective on the whole outside of Europe. We have a large international customer base and offer, we hope an excellent service to AUS, US and beyond. Happy to ship larger orders but again, please contact regarding quotation prior to ordering.

All prices are quoted in UK Pounds Sterling and sold under English law, prices are subject to change and when changes occur, will be updated as soon as able. The price that you pay at the time of order will be honored but the item price may change subsequently. The postage rates quoted are for mainland UK, small items can usually be posted for the same cost to islands and highlands but larger items may be subject to additional carriage charges, please contact us if you live in these outer regions. All prices are inclusive of VAT at the prevailing rate.
Delivery of goods are normally despatched within 2 working days, this does not include weekends or bank holidays and there may be some delays that are outside of our control at busy times such as the pre Christmas, post Christmas periods. If you item has not arrives within 5 working days of your dispatch email, please contact your Local Post Office in the first instance as parcels are often returned there, you should receive a failed delivery card stating time and date that delivery was attempted, it is your responsibility to act upon this card, if the item is returned to Jodshop Ltd, then you will be asked to pay the cost of reshipping the item back out to you.
Returns policy - please read our returns policy carefully before making the order, please make note of the reasons that refund will not be made, it is your responsibility as a buyer to take adequate care when trying on or examining items, this is your legal responsibility under English Law.

NON REFUNDABLE: Any item returned in less than perfect conditions e.g. Items not in original packaging, creased, marked, tags missing, incomplete or rugs tried on horses without the use of a cotton sheet underneath resulting in hair on returned rug making it unfit for re-sale.
NON REFUNDABLE: Any item sent back without the correct paper work
NON REFUNDABLE: Undergarments, riding hats, jewellery, horse bits, lotions, potions and powders. (If unsure please email before you buy) NON REFUNDABLE: customers requesting a return after 14 days of receipt of item, or items returned after 7 days of the return form being issued
PLEASE NOTE: Please take care of your items when examining them; it is your legal duty to do so.
We cannot make a full refund on saddles that are marked in any way, including marks on girth straps.
We will not refund leather boots that have creases or that have been worn outside, if when trying on leather boots do not zip easily - they do not fit you - if you try to force them the zip may burst. The same may occur with jodhpurs, especially the tighter fitting brands.
Horse Rugs & Equipment - When trying rugs on your horse, please do so over a cotton sheet, we will not accept any rugs on our premises that have been dirtied (Health and Safe Act 1972) For safety reasons all equine attire is made to break under pressure through incident, bad fit, etc? for example; we are not responsible for tears in rugs, tight straps breaking when horse rolls, buckles giving on ill fitting rugs, head collars breaking if horse pulls back are just a few examples of how horse attire can be damaged the list is endless but please use common sense and question how the item has become damaged before you complain the item is at fault. The above also applies for human attire. In the event you force zips/break straps etc, causing damage to items you are in breech of your statutory rights whilst examining an item, so please take reasonable care of the item in your possession, to avoid making it invalid for refund.
If you return an item as damaged and we suspect that you have deliberately tampered with or broken the item and claimed goods were faulty on issue we will take the necessary action to recover losses in court and involve the police to deal with any criminal fraud. Goods returned under complaint must be clean/dry (Health and Safe Act 1972) and will not be accepted back on our premises without prior consent from Jodshop Ltd. Goods returned under complaint will be examined by ourselves on return who may seek further expert advice when needed. This process may take up to 28 days before we can tell you of any outcome. Wear and use of an item prior to the item developing a fault will be taken into consideration when issuing a refund on an item returned under complaint and subsequently if we agree an item is faulty a refund will be made on that basis. If a customer uses an item after fault has appeared under English Law the customer is deemed as accepting the fault.
All Returns of any nature must include a return code and relevant paperwork mentioned in our general return policy. It is the customer?s responsibility returning any goods under complaint back to Jodshop Ltd.
The buyer is responsible for return postage costs.
