-Condition: Brand new & can be fully disassembled and assembled; -overall length: 103cm/40.6inch -nagasa length/material: 71cm/28.0inch / T-10 high carbon steel -handle length/material:26cm /10.2inch. hard wooden with Genuine Ray Skin wrapped . silk ito & ornamented with Menuki (ornament); -Habaki/Seppa: made of brass; -mountings: Made of copper; eagle theme; -Saya (Scabbard): made of hard wood black&red lacquer be shine. silk sageo also rolled both side of kurikata to match sword's tsuka-ito. -Package Includes: 1 * Assembled katana Sword with saya 1 * sword Bag ; The blade of the sword has been hand forged using the ancient method of sword making. Full hand forged, hand polished and hand sharpened. The blade was made of T-10 high carbon steel, and it has been laminated in a Maru style with real hamon line. A special clay was applied to the blade by hand, using a thin covering near the edge and a thicker layer over the rest of the blade. this results in a relatively quick cooling of the edge during quenching, producing a hard edge and softer back. the beautiful real hamon on the blade was also result of the differential cooling of the blade (quenching and tempering). This blade has been hand polished with multiple grade sharpen stone by Japanese method, which made the surface of the blade like a mirror, the blade is also very sharp. The tip of the blade is a Chu Kissaki (medium length), it was well defined with the hamon going all the way through the Boshi. This blade comes with a full length Tang which greatly enhances the strength of the sword. this sword is strong enough to cut through a thick bamboo tree with a single strike yet sharp enough to slice paper. This katana is for those who want a real sword. The sword is made in the exact same method of the ancient Japanese process of making swords and is sharper than a razor.
