Cook Islands - 1973 Official Sterling Silver Proof Set - KM# PS4

The coin set was dedicated to Captain's James Cook 2nd Pacific Voyage. The set comprises two Commemorative Crowns: 2-1/2 Dollars and 7-1/2 Dollars

Coins were struck and packaged at the Royal Mint, London under the authorization of the Government of Cook Islands

Coins come inside original horizontal brown hard plastic case. The original brown outer case is also included.

(! Both coins - 2-1/2 Dollars and 7-1/2 Dollars were made of .925 Sterling Silver and weigh 27.35 and 33.8 grams respectively. This makes just the Silver content of the set is exactly 1.8185 Troy Ounces of Silver

(Mint: 4,754) set of Proof Silver coins!
