I've had these for a couple weeks and have already spent several days in the Keys sight fishing with them. The cons are that (1) they will fog up longer than plastic lenses [just like all brands] when going from indoor A/C to outdoor humidity, (2) I am worried about the hinge breaking over time due to a need to slightly bend the frames out a little when putting them on my big head, and (3) spotting fish in the water showed barely any noticeable improvement than with a $5 pair of Wal-Mart Berkley sunglasses [I did see a lot of fish, though]. The $5 glasses scratch a lot and teh frames break very often for me where I must have bought 7 pairs over the last 2 years (value of $35 + inconvenience vs. ~$200 + security = a personal choice). The main pros are that (1) the glasses seem built fairly solid, (2) the rubber trim is nice [I hope it lasts], (3) the glass lens seems more durable than scratch-prone plastic, and (4) the fit to my head, once on, is better than my previous Action Optic Smiths frames. I do have a preference for the AO Smiths concerning their Copper lens color for driving/fishing. Finally, for the fashionistas out there, my picky 16-year-old niece even complemented the look and style of these sunglasses by saying "I usually think the Costas all look bad but yours don't." My big beautiful head may have had something to do with her assessment, though.Read full review
