They are designed for harsh Australian environment and are made from high quality aluminium alloy with addedd rust inhibitor. The log periodic Antennas we make will replace traditional Antennas. The unique compact design and a super light wieght is reducing cost of installation. Log periodic antennas will last much longer than conventional types.

Our Antennas does not contain any plastic supports, joining screws or a heavy long tube type elements. The alloy rods are mechanical force into the shaft and make our antenna unbreakable.

Older antennas are sometimes not suitable for reception of ABC Digital Television in these areas because they were not designed to get the ABC digital frequency.

In the mainland state capitals, analogue television services transmit on VHF channels 2, 7, 9 and 10. Most antenna installed prior to the introduction of digital, were designed to only pick up VHF channels between 2 and 10.

When digital was introduced, the Government determined that no digital channels would broadcast below Channel 5A (or Band III on the VHF spectrum).

Digital Television Broadcast Channels in mainland capitals are now 6 (Seven Network), 8 (Nine Network), 11 (Ten Network) and 12 (ABC). This means older antenna are generally not properly equipped to pick up the entire VHF spectrum (channels 0-12).

An older antenna may still get the ABC and Network Ten digital signals, however the strength and quality of the signal is greatly decreased, which leads frequent pixellation and or loss of signal on those channels. If your antenna is more than 9 years old, you probably do need to upgrade it, otherwise you may continue to have issues with the ABC and channel 10.

If you live in an apartment block you may need to speak to the body corporate for your building for more advice.

Replacing an old Antenna my not resolve problems if you are in the Fringe Reception area. Antenna should be located at the best available position on the roof after the adequate Test with the Instrument done! Old cheap TV leads from your Tv to outlet should be replaced for Quality Rg 6 quad shielded ones !

Look at your Neighbors Roof - Do they have Antennas on high Masts ? Is in your area a lot of Trees ? Are you far away from TV Transmitter  (Remote Country  Areas) Is My House in the Valley or lower than other Houses ? All those Who Answer "Yes" my consider as Fringe Reception Areas..
If you can see Your Local TV Tower Thank You are in  a Good Reception Area !
